Dragon Ball: The Breakers Special Edition is an asymmetrical action survival game developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for Nintendo Switch, set in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse continuity. Seven ordinary “Survivors” must cooperate—using stealth, items, and even the Dragon Balls—to escape via a Super Time Machine, while a single “Raider” (a classic villain such as Cell, Frieza, or Majin Buu) hunts them down and grows more powerful over time. The Special Edition includes the full base game plus bonus content: exclusive costume items, a victory pose, and a vehicle skin.
— “Dragon Ball: The Breakers has the guts to do something completely different. It doesn’t always hit the right notes but it is unique enough that fans of the anime and manga will be thrilled for at least several hours.” — Nintendo Life
— “Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a solid game loop that feels fun to play, especially if you are with friends, although its progression system and cosmetic options leave much to be desired.” — Dragon Ball By Daylight
— “This game is clearly underrated. It’s fun, dynamic and for the price ($15), I’m really enjoying it. Season is incoming with more bad guys and more survivors. Try it, you’ll like it!” — jennyllin (Metacritic user review)
