The Sony ECM-XYST1M Stereo Microphone is a compact, high-quality on-camera microphone designed to deliver rich stereo sound for video recording on Sony cameras and other compatible devices. Featuring a stereo electret condenser design with an adjustable stereo pickup angle from 0° to 120°, it lets you tailor audio capture to suit solo subjects or wide ambient scenes. The microphone connects directly via Sony’s Multi Interface Shoe for clean, noise-free digital audio and also includes a stereo mini-jack cable for cameras without an MI Shoe. An included windscreen helps reduce wind noise for clearer outdoor recording, making the ECM-XYST1M ideal for filmmaking, vlogging, and event capture.
