Description

The UGREEN 30768 (US216) is a high-performance USB 3.0 (USB-A) 2-in / 4-out sharing switch, enabling two computers to share up to four USB peripherals (e.g. printers, scanners, external drives, keyboards, mice, etc.) without swapping cables.

Supporting up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1) data throughput, this switch is backward compatible with USB 2.0 / USB 1.1 devices. It features a push-button manual switch with LED indicators to show the active host, and a micro-USB 5V port for optional external power to support devices with higher power demands.

Installation is plug-and-play — no drivers required — and it supports operation across Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS. The housing is compact and robust, and the included 1.5 m USB-A cables allow flexible placement between computers and the switch unit.

This switch does **not** support automatic host switching — switching must be done manually by the push button. Also, for best performance, keep the USB cable from switch to peripheral under 1.8 m.
