When moisture is detected, the sensor acts immediately by broadcasting a real-time push notification to your smartphone via the Meross app or Apple Home app. For localized alerts when you are away from your phone, the device triggers a built-in audible alarm reaching up to 60dB. Designed with an IP67 waterproof construction, it remains fully operational even if submerged under water while transmitting emergency signals.
Operating on a low-frequency 433MHz wireless connection, the sensor achieves remarkable battery efficiency, boasting a lifespan of up to 18 months using a single, replaceable CR123A battery. Through integration with Apple HomeKit and SmartThings, users can easily query their home’s safety status using Siri or automate smart scenarios—such as flashing smart bulbs or triggering secondary alarms when a leak occurs.
