The Octopath Traveler 0 (Nintendo Switch 2) is a turn-based role-playing game developed by Square Enix and DokiDoki Groove Works, and published by Square Enix. It is a prequel to the original Octopath Traveler series and a console adaptation of the mobile title Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, redesigned into a full premium HD-2D JRPG experience.
The game takes place in the world of Orsterra and follows a completely custom-created protagonist. Players begin their journey after the destruction of their hometown and are tasked with rebuilding it while uncovering a story of restoration, revenge, and divine conflict over powerful artifacts known as the “divine rings.”
