The Sigma 16‑300mm f/3.5‑6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens for Sony E‑Mount is an extremely versatile all‑in‑one zoom designed for APS‑C mirrorless cameras. Covering an incredible 18.8× zoom range from wide‑angle to super‑telephoto, this lens effectively spans approximately 24–450mm in 35mm equivalent terms—making it ideal for landscapes, travel, portraits, wildlife, sports, macro close‑ups, and everyday shooting without changing lenses.
Equipped with a High‑response Linear Actuator (HLA) autofocus motor, this lens delivers fast and accurate focusing across its zoom range. Sigma’s advanced OS2 optical stabilization provides up to approximately six stops of shake reduction at the wide end and around 4.5 stops at the telephoto end, helping to produce sharp results even when shooting handheld or in low‑light conditions. A zoom lock switch prevents unwanted extension at the wide end, while a dust‑ and splash‑resistant structure and water‑repellent coating enhance durability for outdoor use.
