The SmallRig Camera Cage Kit for Sony FX2 is a versatile and protective rig designed to enhance your camera’s functionality for professional video production. Engineered specifically for the Sony FX2, this cage provides a secure fit while maintaining full access to all buttons, ports, and the EVF. Built with a durable aluminum construction, it offers multiple mounting points including 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, NATO rails, and a cold shoe mount, allowing seamless attachment of accessories such as monitors, microphones, and handles.
The kit includes a detachable top plate with an integrated NATO rail, enabling easy mounting of Sony XLR handles or other top handles without obstructing camera operation. It also features an XLR handle extension rig and wrist strap for improved ergonomics and handheld stability. A built-in Arca-type quick release plate allows fast transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups, while the HDMI cable clamp ensures secure and stable connections during shooting.
