Engineered with Sony’s latest technology, the lens features four XD (Extreme Dynamic) Linear Motors that provide up to four times faster autofocus performance compared to the previous generation. The optical construction incorporates one XA element, one aspherical element, two ED elements, and two Super ED elements to minimize chromatic aberrations, distortion, and flare while maintaining outstanding resolution and contrast.
