The Ugreen 50999 HDMI Extender (Transmitter + Receiver) is a powerful long-distance HDMI-over-Ethernet solution that lets you transmit high-definition video and audio over a standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable. This kit supports distances up to 40 m at 4K@30 Hz (via Cat6) and up to 70 m at Full HD (1080 p), making it ideal for home theatre installations, conference rooms, digital signage, or any setup where HDMI cables alone aren’t practical.

The system uses the VS101 chipset to ensure stable signal conversion, and features EDID auto-recognition so the optimal resolution is automatically chosen. The metal housings provide robust shielding and help dissipate heat, and the extender includes IR pass-through to allow remote control of your source device even when it’s far from your display.
