The Wild Hearts S (Nintendo Switch 2) is an action-adventure monster-hunting game developed by Omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo. It is an enhanced port of the original 2023 title Wild Hearts, rebuilt for Nintendo’s next-generation hardware with expanded multiplayer support and performance adjustments.
Set in the fantasy land of Azuma, inspired by feudal Japan, players take on the role of a skilled hunter tasked with eliminating massive elemental beasts known as Kemono. These creatures are fused with nature itself, ranging from fire-infused boars to ice-wielding wolves, each requiring strategy and preparation to defeat.
The defining feature of the game is the Karakuri system—ancient technology that allows players to instantly build structures such as traps, shields, springs, and traversal tools during combat. This system adds a unique layer of tactical creativity to traditional monster-hunting gameplay.
The Switch 2 version includes all post-launch updates from the original release and expands cooperative play to up to four players.
